- Hoods are
manufactured depending on their real use
(wall-mounted or placed in the middle of the
room) and can be split into the following
groups :
 |
V-series hoods
with no filters |
 |
F-series hoods
with filters |
 |
DP-series,
double-wall hoods with no filters |
 |
CV-series
compensation hoods with no filters |

- The
steam-detection plenum manufacture is made with
AISI 304 inox metal sheet (glazed and externally
protected), 0.8 mm thick, electrically
spot-welded.
- Other
materials and thicknesses on demand.
-
- Their special
shape not only improves the look but has also
been conceived to make vapours detection as easy
as possible, thanks to the double slanting plane
ensuring a Venturi effect to the hood base.
-
- When
manufacturing the hood, we try to keep the number
of negative angles as low as possible to ensure a
better cleaning and hygiene level.
-
- The upper part
of the hood has one or two holes depending on the
capacity, together with the relevant flange to
make the coupling to the discharge piping easier.
-
- The base is
equipped with an outer condensation collection
channel.
- ACCESSORIES :
-
-
- USE
-
- Hoods
without filters
- These hoods
are especially suitable for those sectors where
it is not necessary to filter the vapours
produced by the underlying equipment, such as
water steam, etc. and that do not abide by the
parameters imposed by the recently-approved
anti-pollution laws.
- However, it is
possible to use them by installing an appropriate
filtering system onto the connection channel.
-
- Hoods
with filters
- They are
mainly used in the restaurants,
canteens and barracks kitchens, etc.,
where the vapours to be discharged contain high
quantities of fats, easily detectable by the
mechanic-type filters.
-
- Double-wall
hoods
- These hoods
are never equipped with their own filtration
system ; if required, it has to be installed
downstream along the discharge channel.
- They are
especially used when it is necessary to install
the hood at more than 220 cm from the floor or to
avoid to install it too far from the polluting
point.
- The suction
all around the hood offers the following benefit,
i.e. the capacities are lower if compared to the
traditional hoods, thus also preventing awkward
air flows from bothering operators.
-
- Compensation
hoods
- Their
operation and installation are similar to the
aforementioned V- and F-series hoods, the
difference being that during manufacturing we
provide an external channel with gates and
openings in order to feed air in the room, thus
saving much energy and improving the aesthetic
appearance of the hood if compared with the
traditional plants.
